Job Profile

Our excavator operators are responsible for the installation of piling foundations using in-house customized equipment.

Job Duties

  • Operate company crew truck for travel to and from work sites
  • Operate excavator in accordance with DFI procedures and customer requirements
  • Install steel piles using hydraulic and vibratory equipment
  • Conduct daily inspection of equipment and attached lifting devices, and correct or report all defects immediately
  • Care for and maintain company equipment to DFI standards
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Actively participate in DFI’s safety program
  • Qualifications

  • Experience operating Excavator
  • Experience with helical pile installation an asset
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA
  • Available to work out of town for extended periods of time
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs
  • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug/alcohol and fitness tests
