Job Profile

As a Business Development Specialist with DFI, you will be responsible for engaging potential customers, building meaningful connections, and maintaining relationships through project completion.

Job Duties

  • Conduct market research to determine possible business opportunities
  • Pursue, develop, and report on new leads for piling and civil construction projects
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to key decision makers within DFI
  • Influence, negotiate and close sales with the best interest of the DFI and the customer in mind
  • Follow up with existing customers to maintain business relationships and ensure customer needs are being met
  • Attend trade shows and other business networking events
  • Update in-house CRM system
  • Promote and represent DFI positively and professionally within the industry to all customers, competitors and industry associates
  • Qualifications

  • A results-driven, creative and energetic team player with the ability to build relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Proven track record in driving growth through increasing market exposure
  • An understanding of foundation construction principles
  • Familiar with piling equipment and operations
  • Ability to travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
