Job Profile
Our Wire Process Operators work in DFI’s custom designed ERW pipe mill operating a semi-automated MIG welding system
Job Duties
- Operate a Semi-Automated MIG welding system
- Assist in mill repairs and tooling changes
- Operate safely, in compliance with the DFI HSE program
Qualifications
- Journeyman Wire Process Operator or 2nd year welder
- Experience in MIG welding
- Experience with high tensile steel is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and safely as part of a high production team
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate production needs
