Job Profile
Our Autobody Refinisher/Painters are responsible for ensuring the equipment we build and design is represented with our brand. We are currently seeking an individual with Lead Hand experience who can act as a working foreman.
Job Duties
- Clean, mask and prepare surfaces to be painted
- Prep, fill and sand body panels
- Use various paint application processes such as: airless, air, pressure pot, and brush
- Wear appropriate masks and respirators
- Complete touch ups after final assembly
- Maintain cleanliness of paint equipment and workspace
- Maintain inventory and prepare for projects
- Plan team workflow and coordinate with internal fabrication group and external customers as required
- Operate forklift and/or loader
- Operate diesel compressor and sandblast equipment
Qualifications
- Must have experience planning for and leading a small department
- Must have knowledge of two and three part paint products
- Must be comfortable wearing appropriate masks and respirators
- Automotive painting, Industrial painting, fiberglass and bodywork experience is required
- Some experience with estimating and billing
- Class 5 driver’s license
