Job Profile

Our Class 1 Drivers - Heavy Haul - load, haul, and deliver a wide array of materials directly to DFI customers and branch locations throughout Western Canada. We are presently seeking a driver with experience hauling large equipment.

Job Duties

Load, haul, and deliver materials such as pipe and heavy equipment

Apply tire chains when required, as per DFI’s safe work procedures

Abide by federal hours of service and load securement

Maintain a legal driver's logbook

Perform preventative maintenance such as; daily inspections, greasing, and refueling

Qualifications

Clean class 1 driver’s license

Experience hauling heavy equipment; multicombination including jeep and booster (wheeler experience preferred)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Field safety tickets including; First Aid, H2S, CSTS, and Fall Protection
