Job Profile
DFI is currently seeking an experienced Operator to run our Burntable on afternoon shift. We are looking for an ambitious, innovative, and hardworking professional that can complement our exceptional team.There is a $2 per hour premium for the afternoon shift
Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm with the possibility for overtime

Job Duties
- Grease, clean and maintain equipment daily
- Cut, bevel and trim pipe as required
- Ensure cut quality is maintained
- Record pipe data and label as needed
- Work closely with our production welders to maximize productivity
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair table alongside maintenance staff
- Take an active role in DFI’s quality, health, safety and environmental programs
- Ordering of plate for projects
Qualifications
- Have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Possess a minimum of 1 year burn table operating experience preferred
- Experience with Messer table and pronest programing
- Have ability to use basic tools such as measuring tape, band saw, calipers
- Be able to read drawings and blueprints
- Be willing to work straight evenings and weekends
- Demonstrate high degree of communication skills including the ability to take verbal direction as required
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Welding experience an asset
- This is an indoor and outdoor position; candidates must be comfortable working outside in cold or hot climates.
