This project showcases an efficient foundation build for a modern commercial space using precast construction. By combining surveying, high-capacity helical pile installation, and expert field finishing, the DFI Piling team is preparing the site to handle the demanding structural loads required for precast builds.

From start to finish, the project follows a streamlined, all-in-one foundation process designed to stay on schedule and eliminate handoff delays:
- Helical Design & Supply: Piles are engineered specifically for Surrey’s soil conditions and the load requirements of a precast structure.
- DFI Surveying: Accurate layout and as-built verification ensure every pile and pile cap is exactly where it needs to be for seamless panel and/or column installation.
- Supply & Installation: High-capacity helical piles are installed using specialized, heavy-duty equipment.
- Field Finishing: On-site welding involving cutting and capping services prepares each pile head for immediate integration with grade beams and footings.

Pile Grouping: Strategic excavation around pile clusters enables precise “Cut & Cap” operations, ensuring the foundation sits perfectly level for the precast panels and/or columns.
Site Integration: By combining excavation and installation, the team minimizes the footprint of the heavy machinery, allowing for continuous backfilling and compaction to grade without delaying the pile crews.
Project Progress: The foundation is taking shape as a complete package, from the first survey stake to the compacted grade, setting the stage for a smooth transition into the vertical phase of the precast construction once the project is finalized.
