Job Profile

Our Automotice Technicians are responsible for ensuring that our fleet of vehicles are running smoothly and take part in everything from oil changes to engine repairs. If you are looking for motivating work that will lead into a successful career, then we are looking for you!

Job Duties

  • Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, etc.
  • Listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
  • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
  • Maintains vehicle records by documenting service and repairs.
  • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publication
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • 4th year apprentice OR Journeyman Certification
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • CVIP considered an asset
  • Must have a high regard for safety
