Job Profile

Our Class 1 Drivers - Heavy Haul - load, haul, and deliver a wide array of materials directly to DFI customers and branch locations throughout Western Canada. We are presently seeking a driver with experience hauling large equipment.

Wage: $40-$45/ hour

Job Duties

  • Load, haul, and deliver materials such as heavy equipment
  • Apply tire chains when required, as per DFI’s safe work procedures
  • Abide by federal hours of service and load securement
  • Maintain a legal driver's logbook
  • Perform preventative maintenance such as; daily inspections, greasing, and refueling

Qualifications

  • Clean class 1 driver’s license
  • First Aid, H2S, CSTS, Fall Protection and other safety tickets are an asset
  • Experience hauling heavy equipment; multicombination including jeep and booster (wheeler experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
