Job Profile
Our Machinists are an integral part of both the assembly and maintenance of DFI's custom equipment and machinery. In this role you will be working on a wide variety of small run projects. We are offering $32-$36/hour for this position.
Job Duties
- Operate CNC mills (VMC, HMC, boring mill) and CNC lathes
- Read blueprints and create programs in G-code, Mastercam and Mazatrol
- Perform precise measuring to ensure components are machined to the specific tolerances and surface finishes.
- Maximize the use of materials and run time
- Operate forklift, overhead crane and heavy shop tools
- Take an active role in DFI’s quality, health, safety and environmental programs
Qualifications
- Journeyman Machinist certified
- Proficient on both mill and lathe
- Ability to program machines
- Mastercam experience
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
