Job Profile

The Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage and loading of steel pipe while also handling materials and equipment for other departments.

Wage: $26-$30/hr plus a premium for working the afternoon shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30 pm -12:00 am, weekend rotation. OT required at times of high demand.
Working Conditions: Primarily working in a loader but work happens in all weather conditions.

Job Duties

  • Operate equipment in the pipe yard such as wheel loaders, zoom booms, skid steers and forklifts.
  • Perform with preventative maintenance on equipment, such as; daily inspections, greasing, and refueling.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience operating equipment. Loader experience is an asset.
  • CSTS
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate production needs.
  • Motivation to work hard and get tasks done.
  • Ability to problem solve and think on the fly
  • Comfortable working both independently or as part of a small team.
  • This is a safety sensitive position and will require candidates to comply with DFI's drug and alcohol program
