Job Profile
The Technical Services Lead – Quality Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of DFI’s projects with a focus on quality records (ITPs, turnovers, report reviews, etc.).

Job Duties
- Responsible for the effective coordination of the Technical Services Specialists team with a focus on quality-related tasks; assign, direct and evaluate their work and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- Assign, coordinate and support Quality Representatives
- Provide support to ensure quick resolution and on time completion of projects
- Responsible for the training of new Technical Services Specialists
- Provide engineering support to the Estimating Department during bid phases of projects by providing project specific requirements such as material grade, dimensions of piles, hammer energies, extra scope of work, schedules, availability of manpower etc.
- Represent DFI at client kick off and progress meetings
- Generate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Project Quality Plans (PQP) as required
- Monitor project progress to ensure design and installation requirements are being met
- Compile and provide final turnover documentation to clients
- Assist in preparing and reviewing Dynamic Testing Reports (PDA’s) and Static Load Testing Reports in compliance with applicable standards for review and stamp from P. Eng
- Work closely with the TSL – Technical Coordinator to coordinate manpower
- Any other duties required to support technical services
- Must be willing to work outside of regular business hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is an asset
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate with all levels of profession
- Ability to travel out of town periodically
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Fast learner and a team player
- Familiarity with MS Projects and MS Office
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently
